A small accident resulted in a tri-malleolar ankle fracture. This is about as bad as it gets. For five months I was in an external fixator and then a cast. My body has paid a huge price from six months of ankle immobilization. The physical therapists are helpful but Nancy is the only one that truly appreciates that more than my ankle needs to be cared for and has treated me holistically. Her Roll Model therapy has made a significant improvement in my recovery and I am deeply grateful.

The relief I get after Nancy’s Roll+Restore classes is immediate. The techniques are effective in releasing muscle tension as well as stretching tight and sore areas. Her instruction is easy to replicate so I regularly use my therapy balls between classes to build strength and align my posture.

Everybody has the right to healthy joints and tissues and to move with comfort and ease. Yoga and movement provide an opportunity to experiment outside the realm of everyday. My classes build strength and flexibility through playful, physical challenges. Thoughtful cues allow you to learn and feel with greater understanding. I teach you how to create a personal embody map, and that through heightened self-awareness it is possible to reduce injury and perform better in your body.
The Roll Model Therapy Balls provide targeted self-massage trigger point therapy by using specially designed high grip rubber balls and focused movement routines to help penetrate through layers of soft tissue; skin, fascia and muscle.
